What is Acai?
Aside from being an absolute nightmare to pronounce *ah-sai-eee* this Brazillian miracle berry is the new must have superfood this year and lucky for you we’ve got all the best recipes. The Acai berry is a total knockout. Most people describe the taste as somewhere between dark chocolate, red wine and ripe berries. So yeah… we’re pretty sure that you’re going to love it.
Is there still any sunshine left right now? Honestly we’re not sure. But we do know that you should still be making the most of your meals. Acai grows in the sun soaked floodplains of northern Brazil and we’re certain that everytime you eat one of these berries you get a little bit more of the samba spirit in you.
This is pretty vital and you should absolutely be making the most of it because we all know that once it gets really dark it’s going to be porridge and netflix…every single day until spring.

Acai Recipe: Autumn Berry Bowl
- 100ml almond milk
- a couple of ice cubes
- half a avocado or half a banana
- one cup of frozen berries (Acai, Blueberry, Raspberry)
- a scoop Vegavero vanilla protein
- 1 tsp Vegavero vitality mix
- 1 tsp maca powder
Blend it like Beckham Grab everything and throw it in the blen-*duh*
Blend until thick, smooth and creamy!
The Cherry On Top
- flax seeds & chia seeds
- cocoa nibs
- half a banana
